Useful properties of this strain for pest control were discovered between 19th and 20th centuries in the first Russian Agricultural Bacteriological Lab in Saint-Petersburg. The strain received its name after its discoverer – B.Isaatschenko, a Russian microbiologist.

This active substance is known for 120 years, and currently is one of the most well-studied ones. Long-term research, conducted by Russian scientists, as well as application practice of products based on Salmonella enteritidis, var. Issatschenko, 29/1 show that this strain is completely safe for humans and animals, except for mouse-like rodents (mice, rats etc.) Therefore, the rodenticide will cause no harm to non-targeted objects if the product or an affected rodent are accidentally ingested.

The mechanism of action of the rodenticidal agent DENISUK in relation to mouse-like rodents is completely identical to the mechanism of action of the biorodenticide BACTORODENCIDE, intended for the combatting the same pests in agriculture.

The product is manufactured in accordance with Technical regulation 9392-003-86372998-2012.
